Formed in early 2022 from Ipswich, UK - Afterdrive are the relatable and refreshing band that this generation needs.

Frontman Ben, bassist Ed & guitarist Luke met in college over their passion for music, playing in various groups, before teaming up with Joe (Drums), Ben’s brother to form Afterdrive. Channelling nostalgic indie meeting anthemic modern rock, the band write infectious original material with driving rhythms & glistening guitar that combines with unforgettable vocal melodies.

After a year of writing and gigging, Afterdrive released their uplifting debut ‘Stick Around’ in February 2023, to wide acclaim with the track featuring on playlists around the globe. 'Stick Around' was featured as BBC Introducing Suffolk & Norfolk's Track of the week and recieved regular radio play. 

The band's second single '99' was released in May 2023, continuing to grow the Afterdrive fan-base. Following this, Afterdrive headlined the Cornhill stage at Brighten The Corners festival in June - the bands biggest show to date. 

'Bad Vibes' is the third single from Afterdrive, due for release on 15th September. The track has already recieved praise from the team at BBC Suffolk, and was performed at the NMG Awards where Afterdrive won a festival appearance and were nomiated in multiple categories.   

Within less than year since the release of Stick Around, Afterdrive have proved themselves a powerful and dyanmic act with a bank of infectious songs and exciting plans for the future. Afterdrive are Ben Watts (Vocals), Luke Ellis (Guitar), Ed Ruff (Bass) & Joe Watts (Drums).
